My Future Job

Hi there everybody, this time i would like to talk about my future job.

Well, you probably know that I'm actually studying Public Administration at Universidad de Chile, so I hope that my future job will be work as a Public Administrator.

If you work as a P.A., you will find a lot of different appointment that you could try if you are in the Chilean system of P.A., for example, backup staff, strategics, statistics, director, and even a minister, if you are in the same political line of the government and if you are a nearly friend of the president. If I have to choose a kind of job that I would like to have, I would choose a high appointment job as a Director, Superintendent,     Diplomatic, Ambassador or if it’s possible, a minister.

I was thinking right now that I prefer to work as an Ambassador, because it could be a great chance to know other countries, other cultures, different political systems, everything under an administration and management point of view. If I have to choose specifically where I would like to work (as ambassador), I’ll choose Norway, Finland, Hungary or Denmark, because they’re very interesting cultures that I’d like to know in the flesh.

A Video That I Like

Hi there folks! In this time I’m going to write about a video that I like. I’m a big fan of horror videos and paranormal topics, as I love survival horror video games.

By writing in the Youtube’s browser “Lights Out Film”, you will see a list of many videos, but you have to click the first one. By clicking it, consider turning off the light, closing all your windows and doors, and, obviously, staying home alone, it would be better if you watch it with your headphones or subwoofer.

¿Why I picked this one? Well, I selected it because everybody loves short and schoking videos and, precisely now you have in front of you one of them.

The video means about a woman that is ready to go to sleep, and when she turns off the light of the corridor, a strange shadow appears , and when she turns on the light, the strange shadow blows away. When she decides to forget about it, she gets in bed and I won’t tell you anymore about it, because you MUST watch it RIGHT NOW.

If you are a scary person, I recommend you to don’t watch it because you probably will not sleep this night at all.

From now on, take care of yourself when you turn off the light, and try to don’t look back, just turn off the light, jump to your bed and close your eyes until tomorrow.

A movie that I like/hate

Hi there folks, this time I’m going to write about a movie that I like and a movie that I hate.

First of all, I have to say that I’m not a big fan of the movies or cinemas, however, there are a lot of movies that I know, so I hope that you know them too.

The Green Mile (Milagros Inesperados ) is probably the movie that I like over all the movies that I know, because this is a movie full of symbolism, feelings, history and very good actors as Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan, the main actors of this amazing movie. This movie is about a man that is condemned to the Electric Chair by a crime that he didn’t committed and the life of the guard that have to take care of the sentenced ones. M.C.D’s character (John Coffey) has miraculous healing powers and he gets a very good friendship with the guards before his execution.

I have to say there is a lot of movies that I really hate because I think they’re so stupid or maybe are simply as boring. I hate all those movies about blond girls, parties, pregnant women and weddings. Just for say a movie, I hate “American Pie” and everything liked.

A Country I Would Like To Visit

Hello there folks! This time I would like to talk about a country I would like to visit. During this year, I had a trip with my folk music band mates, very unexpected, to a country called Hungary (Magyarország, in their own language, Hungría, in spanish).

I have to say that I didn’t knew many of things about Hungary (and I still don’t), maybe some things like Franz Liszt’s piano piece “Hungarian Rhapsody n°8”, it’s beautiful parliament building, Danube River that crosses and divides Hungary in “Buda” and “Pest” and it famous typical drink called “Palinka”.

During my trip, I didn’t had much time to go for a walk and meet other places, so that is exactly what I would like to do if I go there again, specially, I would like to visit again a city called Szeged, a place with a lot of history and old building. In fact, there is a church that has bullets inside it’s walls because of the Second World War. I left a lot of friends in a little town called Szazhalombatta, which is a town that I obviously would like to come back.

I would like to travel with all my family, because I love them all.

My favorite photograph

This photo was taken before one of my band performances during our trip in Százhalombatta, Hungary by our Hungarian guide called Adam. This photo shows all the band members with our Chiloé’s dresses and in the back we can see a very beautiful catholic church that is in the middle of the square.

It was taken in August 19 at 8:00 am, so please don’t look at our faces, because it was too early and we didn’t had a breakfast. Also, last night we arrived very late from a trip to another city called Tököl, so we were really tired and just wishing to stay in bed.

We have a lot of photos about our trip during Europe, but I specially like this because we look very cool and all the band members are in it.

This was my first trip out from Chile and by an airplane, so it was a very special and unforgettable experience in my life. I stayed in Hungary and Serbia, very beautiful places to visit and stay, so I hope you can go there someday and visit all those beautiful places.

Roger Waters, someone that I admire

I really admire Roger Waters (United Kingdom, 1943), who is a british musician and composer, famous for being member and one of the founders of the rock/psychedelic band called Pink Floyd.

He is a very important musician and political and social activist, but obviously, he is more famous for being a musician and bassist of Pink Floyd. One of his most important works in his career, is the album done with Floyd called “The Wall”, a really masterpiece of the rock music, and music in general. This is a conceptual album that talks about the story of a guy called Pink and his life experiences. Pink’s life is bassed in Roger’s life, what makes Pink as an alter ego of Roger.

I like Roger Waters because he has a lot of things in his head that make us think about the reality, the shit of people that is in the power and how they get mad and destroy the world. Everything by a very artistic way. I love him and I want a son with him named Syd xD.

My Blogging Experience

During this class I have got a lot of new knowledge about Blogger and English language. I think this class is one of my favourites and my experience working with Blogger has been very enriching.

My writing skills have grown greatly thanks to this way of class working, because we have to talk about different topics that we don’t expect and we have to use all what we have learned in class, that make me feel so proud about my learning and about my skills that I’ll have to use in every moment but specially in the future.

It would be great to include in the future, to the class, another differents way of writing, I mean, maybe a newspaper or other kind of files and documents that help us to stay ready if we have to write an English document to someone that doesn’t speak Spanish. I’d love to add as well, maybe some kind of life diary, where we have to write everyday about our life and the things that we are going to do tomorrow.

By the way, I’d like to write about my favourites subjects, for example, my favourites rock bands, history, differents countries of the world, video games, etc.

How sports can improve Chilean life standards?

Hello folks, this time I'd like to talk about how sports benefits our lives and the society.

Well, a healthly life is composed by a nice feeding, and a lot of sport, and that is exactly what in Chile doesn't happen.

Chile has one of the highest obesity indicators (children, adults and seniors), and this is not a food problem, this is an education problem. Time ago, junk food was very cheap and everybody could buy a hot dog, "sopaipillas", burgers, etc. Therewith, people use to stay in home, watching TV, on the PC, sleeping, or simply doing nothing, and that is something very worrying.

I think it's very urgent to apply public policies to regulate this problem, specially in children, to avoid the risk of heart attacks and in general, to have a healthly life and live free of any physical and psychological problem.
